but delphi does offer a good IDE, fast compiler, good language (which
has progressed a long way from standard pascal) and a VCL (component
library) which covers most of the components needed for everyday
An excellent shareware help editor. Helpscribble
displays the topics in your help file in view similar to windows
explorer (but unfortunately just as a list - not as a tree) with
the right hand pane showing the current topic. You can easily create
links and edit window styles, contents lists and anything else associated
with help files.
Zoom Search Engine
This useful piece of software powers the search engine used on this site. A windows utility scans your website and builds the index. You then upload the database and a script to your site to do the searching. There's even a free version available for smaller sites.

programmers and anyone asociated with the shareware industry. If
you have any interest in creating shareware then it's an invaluable
resource. The website also contains some useful information.
